Nice Try Turner
nice try guy
Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up King and Parli'ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
burn an effigy tonight ya'll. happy bonfire day!

By that i mean we carved pumpkins in the grand tradition of the annual hotwax pumpkin carving clusterfuck. it was kind of the same as last year (remember when we wrote about it (twice!)), except this time i won. thats right, i fucking won. good job self. youre terrific!

Run Like the WInd
Congrats to Compound member Erin Broadhurst who set the bar high for us. She took 2nd Place in the female 20-29 year old bracket for the 5k Free to Breathe in Philadelphia.
Not only did she run farther than most of us walk, she did it in the name of raising just under $1000 for a great cause.
