I'd like to give acknowledge on behalf of the compound the loss we are all feeling with the passing of Patrick Swayze.
A fine actor and "tuff as nails" gentlemen he taught me many lessons of life....

He taught me how to organize and fit the Commie invasion in RED DAWN

He taught me how to organize a rumble and fight the rich kids in THE OUTSIDERS



He taught me how to tear a man's throat out with my bear hands in ROADHOUSE



And he taught me how to rob banks and "bro down" in the sky in POINT BREAK




He made many other more acclaimed movies and we celebrate his entire catalog of work here at the compound. So next time you have a drink, toast Swayze and maybe break the bottle over someone's head just for good measure out of respect to the man that taught us all how to kick ass and sweep a lady off her feet on the dance floor at the same time. Well done, Mr. Swayze.

we do realize it.
we've really been shitting the bed when it comes to updating this blog, and thats fine, it's our time to take, lay off. we've been readjusting our space, focusing on our own work, and chugging along through the hot months.
however, summer vacation is about done and we're going to be offering you a whole bonkers pile of new stuff to enjoy. in a few months it'll be like that jennifer love hewitt movie and you'll all be like... "ooohhhhhhhhhhhhh, i know what they were doing for a little bit" which i always thought was a better title anyway.

in the meantime, let a few bulletpoints waste your time...

• miriam singer did some wheatpasting on the citys dime.
• justin opened a skate shop that was just featured on the deluxe/spitfire website.
• adam pietras has been giving tattoodles and running around.
• i've been drawing, made a website, and replaced smoking with drinking more.
